The Gaston Gazette covers the 2008 NC Supreme Court race in an October 7th about Suzanne.

"In addition to writing more opinions, the Supreme Court needs to hear more cases, Reynolds said. In the last fiscal year, the court denied 96 percent of all petitions for discretionary review for an acceptance rate of just under 4 percent.


Reynolds said that's the lowest acceptance rate in the court's history. A decade ago, justices approved 14 percent to 16 percent of all petitions for review."
